Mike has more than 25 years of experience in the employer benefits area. He has attained many distinguished achievements and sits on the Board of several construction associations. In the past he has occupied seats on the Detroit Chapter AGC Board of Directors, the AUC Board of Directors and the BELCM Board of Directors. Mike currently holds a position on the Michigan Infrastructure Transportation Association (MITA) Board of Directors. He is the recipient of the Golden Eagle Award. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has also given Mike the honorable title of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's Top Producing Agent. Additionally, Mike is a benefits consultant for ten Taft-Hartley trust funds.

Janice has more than 20 years of experience working with manufacturing companies in the Human Resource and employee benefits fields. Her background in health and welfare benefits is extensive. Janice has been responsible for managing health, welfare, and retirement plans for salaried, hourly, and union employees throughout North America. At Association Benefits Janice is responsible for all of the day to day operations within Association Benefits Company including renewals, proposals, presentations, client meetings, interaction with associations, communications, staff assignments, evaluations, budgeting, marketing/advertising, and retention of employees and clients. She also has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Financial Services.

Kathy joined our staff in 2004. She has an Associates Degree in Accounting and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Kathy oversees all of the billing functions including remittances, monthly billing for over 700 groups, our automated billing system, and has reconciled and maintained a zero variance with BCBSM.

Kris has been with us since 1993. She processes all membership changes, coordinates billing runs, and assists customers with claims and any service issues. She also prepares customer proposal and renewal packages. Kris has an in depth knowledge of the Blue Cross plans and systems and a strong background in customer service.

Sherrian has been with us since 2004. With more than nine years of human resources experience from the public and private sector, Sherrian maintains customer relations with our larger clients, preparing recommendations based on detailed analysis and providing guidance in compliance issues. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and Community Development, she also designs our marketing pieces and works in sales.

Brianne joined us in 2007. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English and is pursuing her Master’s of Science in Administration. Brianne’s role is to handle administrative functions and to maintain our larger Trust Fund clients. She is responsible for preparing presentations, managing correspondence, and prioritizing projects.

Carol joined us in 2006. Carol handles new business, provides information on alternative products, prepares renewals and proposals, and processes group wide changes. She assists in attaining quotes, assists in billing runs, and also ensures that our groups receive their ID Cards and Administrative Guide Books in a timely manner.

Julie has been with us since 2002. She is responsible for our larger association business and their annual renewals, providing benefit design options, proposals, billing, and resolving any claims issues. She participates in conventions and provides recommendations on marketing sources.
